I'm so glad Travis and Prestley won Ggreatest American Dog. Galaxy's owner, JD, needs to come to the realization it wasn't his dog that kept him from winning, it was him. I loved Laurie and Andrew and as the judges said, it was too bad only one dog could win. Andrew was a real sweetie.

I so much agree with you. I would never ask my dogs to do such a thing. How about the elephant?? Would you let a full grown elephant come so close to your dogs?? I want the show to be cancelled or new writers that actually care about animals to do the show.

I will never watch it again. It is dangerous to the dogs. I would not let any of my pets stand still while a full grown elephant walks towards them & stops within a foot of them to take a bananna. Did they not realize the elephant could have stepped on them. The elephant trainer was there, but do you think they could have stopped him if he wanted to attack the dogs?? The flying trick did it for me. I agree with the other comment...the next time those dogs are in a "high up" place, they will think it is OK to jump. I now hate the show & hope it is cancelled.

Last night was the end of my watching Greatest American Dog-the "flying" trick was in humanne-all the dogs were terribly frightened and this is not a trick anyone would want their dog to know and try again in the future-they will not realize that ths hartness saved their lives.Bill deserved to win the cnallenge not to be voted off.You need to have the challenges be humane and not scare the beloved animals.Carol in Hudsoon Ohio

My opinion is that "Star" IS the Greatest American Dog!!!!! I love to see Bill and Star on the show. That's the way dogs and their owners should be. They were my choice for favorites when I saw the show the first night it was on. They're the Best.

I feel Brandy's pain...I too have a white miniature schnauzer who acts the same way Beacon did...these schnauzers have a mind of their own.. stubborn but oh so lovable. I do disagree with Brandy on the clothing...no wonder Beacon wouldn't join the group...he was embarrassed:)

I can't believe the judges. They made a poor decision. Tillman was the most personable one on the show i think. He had no props he was just being himself. I can't believe they kept the animal abuser. Spraying water and grapefruit juice in the poor dogs face, yelling at him etc. She should have her dog taken away from her. I am not going to watch this show anymore. The judges should be thrown off. They ruined the show for me and my family. POOR JUDGEMENT for sure....

I feel really bad for Ron and Tillman that they were voted off the show last night. I
raised English Bulldogs for 25 years and loved them dearly. They are an amazing
dog to own. My first bulldog looked just like Tillman. I hope Ron continues to share
his wonderful dog with the american public. He was the best entertaining dog on
the show.

i guess the judges think that being mean to your dog is better then maybe being lazy on the photo shoot week. making a dog wear a rubber band in his mouth to make him look mean is mean and a safety hazard for the dog. voting off tillman will loose alot of the viewing people on the show, tillman was the show, and tillman farting when they were walking off stage was fitting to the judges.

I can't wait for tonight. Lets hope the show focuses more on the dogs then on the people. The show is supposed to be about the relationship between owner and dog but lets face it, it is called "America's Greatest Dog" not "Americas Greatest Human/Canine Duo"!!!

Now lets get ready and watch the maginficent Bill and Star, Travis and Presley, Teresa and Leroy, Jd and Galaxy!!

And lets get rid of everyone else so that we can see a real competition. Lets face it folks, dressing up your dogs in frilly dresses is stupid, too much grooming is also bad. I feel so sorry for that little pom preston who is a beauty but is obviously OVERLY grommed which is not good for the dogs hair and its also not good to constantly color his hair and then wash it out! OVER GROOMED!! Can't blame the dog though, have to blame the owner but judging from her statement at the beginning of the show ( If I can find a man to love me half as much as Preston then I'll be happy) well its obvious she needs the dog to get attention or a man or what not.

Number one team that I think are the cooooooooooolest....RON AND TILLMAN!!!!
YOur dog is so chill and not overly trained as some of these dogs are, Tillman seems like the most chill dog. He doesnt do tricks, he enjoys "his hobbies"!!! Ron and Tillman are the perfect example of humans and animals not only being family but being friends.....Team TILLMAN ALL THE WAY!!

I think Bill and Star are the best team on the show! I think the dogs that are fighting should be disqualified at once!!!!!! That type of behavior should not be allowed! I did not watch the entire program tonight because of it! Thank you... Star is the most well behaved of the lot.

It was very disappointing. Boring and silly. Also, the boston terrier should not have been voted off! It wasn't the dog's fault that the last performance was not good. This little dog was obviously smart and entertaining, just was not given a chance.

I looked so forward to this show because I love dogs. I was really disappointed in the judges selection by voting off the boston terrier. He was precious and so obeident in the opening challenge of musical "stages" but was sunk by his owner who tried to lead the very weak last group of people. I think it was unfair of the judges to hold the performance (he did do the trick) against him because of the owner when one of the other acts actually manipulated her dog that didn't do anything at all. I haven't made up my mind to watch the show again, particularly if this type of judging is going to continue.

Ezzie had so much spunk and personality and don't understand why she and Michael were eliminated. Yes, we're partial to Boston Terriers and would have loved to seen more of Ezzie and Michael. Too bad.

Not sorry to see Michael and his dog Ezzie eliminated from the first episode. I think he thought his dog was more talented than it really was. Gotta love Ron and his skateboarding dog Tillman.
